This course prepares you for your role as a Trainer in the Digital Learning Campus (DLC) and is a prerequisite for becoming active as a Trainer in the DLC. You will learn about the core concepts of the DLC, its learning networks, and its target groups, and develop an understanding of key future skills. In addition, you will gain practical insights and initial methods to design learning opportunities effectively in a digital culture and to actively support learning processes within the DLC. The course also gives you the opportunity to further develop and reflect on your own ideas for learning opportunities.

Kursaufbau

The DLC Trainer Program consists of two modules:

The DLC Introduction Module consists of four courses:
  • Introduction To The DLC,
  • DLC Learning Networks,
  • Living And Working In Digital Cultures, and
  • Future Skills.
The Teaching And Facilitation Module consists of three courses:
  • Pedagogical Practice & Sharing Knowledge,
  • Presenting, Facilitating, Collaborating, and
  • E-learning.

Zielgruppe(n)

People aged 16 and older, students, teachers, companies, employees in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), seniors, job seekers, trainees, general population.

Note on the recommended age:
It is generally recommended to complete the trainer program from the age of 16. However, it is up to you to assess your individual suitability for the trainer program and your willingness to engage with the course content independently — regardless of this age recommendation. The course content is partly written in academic language and contains technical terms that require an appropriate level of abstraction and language comprehension.

After successfully passing the final task, all graduates receive a personalized trainer certificate. This trainer certificate qualifies you, among other things, to independently conduct DLC learning offerings from the age of 18.

Lernziele

After completing this course, you can:

  • design learning opportunities in the Digital Learning Campus (DLC) aligned with current topics and a modern understanding of education,
  • apply the values and principles of the DLC to your own learning opportunities and align their design accordingly,
  • use the Future Skills Framework to purposefully integrate relevant future skills into your learning opportunities,
  • formulate clear and measurable learning objectives for a specific learning opportunity
  • analyze target groups and plan needs-based learning opportunities accordingly,
  • select and justify suitable learning formats (on-site, online, or blended) for your objectives,
  • select appropriate materials and learning activities and justify their use within the context of your learning opportunity,
  • identify potential barriers for participants and make your learning opportunity more accessible.
