In Startup Fundamentals, you’ll dive into the basics of business plans, digital business models, business administration fundamentals, and the Lean Startup methodology.

Who is this course for:
Our self-paced course is designed for two target groups: You aren’t currently working on a startup, but you’re thinking about starting one someday and want to learn how to do it.
You already have an idea and are actively working on it, but could use advice on validating your concept, launching your product, and acquiring your first users. This English-language course is designed as a self-paced program. However, there will be a group onboarding session, two Q&A sessions, and a final session featuring the participants’ pitches.
The Startup Fundamentals module is part of our Digital Entrepreneurship Degree. Participants in the Digital Entrepreneurship Degree receive priority access to this course.
That's what you learn:
Over the course of the semester, you’ll work independently through the various stages of ideation and complete the Startup School program from the renowned Silicon Valley-based Y Combinator, as well as several modules from the Deep Dive School. Both programs are conducted in English and are free of charge for (aspiring) founders.
During the course, we aim to achieve the following: - Encourage and inspire you to start a business that positively impacts the world.
